The DCCC continues to have the field to itself — with the notable exception of the National Association of Realtors, which is throwing down some serious cash to protect GOP Reps. Chris Shays and Joe Knollenberg. I suppose it’s sort of unsurprising that the Realtors are against Jim Himes — after all, Himes has spent the past several years working for an affordable housing nonprofit.

  1. I am not very happy with how the DCCC’s IE arm is spending their money. They are being WAY to safe (IMO) to be able to win another big gain in the House. It seems hard to believe that VA-11, TX-23, IN-09, NJ-03 and OH-16 need so much money. And I really don’t get why IL-11 has been getting such a insane amount of money.

  2. TX-22 did not have any new money in the past week.  I think we should include TX-22 (and any other CDs in this category) to maintain the $$ in the total column.

  3. I have a difficult time remembering who is running against whom in a lot of these races.  Adding columns for the names of the Democrat and Republican would help and you could eliminate the incumbent column and just indicate the incumbent if there is one by adding an asterik or name in bold.  Not complaining since you’re doing all the work and the effort is truly appreciated.
